I'm trying to set Firefox to open the tabs from my previous session, but it just goes to my homepage, which is Google. I'd like the tabs I have open to be saved.

I've set the Option to have it save my tabs each time, but that doesn't seem to have any effect. Anything else I can try?

If you use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox in Firefox 3.5 and later or Clear Private Data in Firefox 3 to clear the 'Browsing History' when Firefox is closed then restoring tabs from the last session ("Save & Quit" or "Show my windows and tabs from last time") doesn't work.

Make sure that you not run Firefox in Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode. You are in Private Browsing mode if you see "Tools > Stop Private Browsing". See Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history and http://kb.mozillazine.org/Issues_related_to_Private_Browsing
