Recently I needed to print shipping labels direct through Firefox. The 1st time was trying to print prepaid postage labels from the Royal Mail website, the 2nd time was trying to print return labels through Ebay. Both times printing failed - I would get my printer screen up but I would not be able to print. If I used Chrome based browser then I could print normally. This makes me think that there may be a problem with my Firefox settings. Can anyone help please?

P.S. Currently using version 80.0.1 firefox which I believe is the latest version.

This is most likely a bug in Firefox. I've created a bug report for this here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1666799

If you create an account on that site you can CC yourself. It would be very helpful if you could attach an old shipping label there to help the developers track down and fix the issue. If you're concerned about not making the label public you can tick "Make attachment and comment private".

P.S. Firefox 80 was the latest version when you asked this question. It's now 81, but it's unlikely the behavior has been fixed since v80.
