Tonight my T-Bird screen had eight emails dated 3/30/2030. I recognize them as recycled from deletions a month back or more. This happens repeatedly, 5 to a dozen such bogus messages. Searched the webmail function of Sparklight and these did not appear, so it must be something Firefox is doing. How do I stop this?some of the recycled messages are offensive, leading to pornography.

Delete the emails and compact the folders they are in. Right click on folder and select 'compact'. Then empty the Trash.
