Controlling the mouse pointer using the remote controller.
Is there an add-on in Firefox for Android for controlling the mouse pointer using the remote controller, like in Firefox for Fire TV?

If you could do that it would be great as it could help someone else with a similar question in the future.
Thank you.

Hi
I am not aware of one, but if there is one, it will be listed at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/android/.
I didn't find anything there. Here is what I'm looking for: blue pointer https://youtu.be/yJdPzyGoTG0?t=165
Hi
Thank you for that link, I see what you mean. Unfortunately I do not think that such an option is currently available as an add-on.
Is this for your personal use, or are you having to show your screen for a presentation? If it is the latter, you may wish to try https://www.google.com/url?q=https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy . This is not software that we support and is designed for advanced users.
Hi! Thanks for the info about scrcpy, but it's a completely different thing. I'm just looking for a convenient browser for my android tvbox (beelink gt1 mini). I found Firefox for Fire TV apk: + navigation as i wanted - can't download any file, only browsing
Ok, great!
The Firefox for Amazon Fire TV app does not have the ability to download as typically the Fire TV devices (normally something you plug into a TV) tend not to have large capacity, or any means to make full use of any downloaded files such as .pdf.
But please "watch this space" - we continue to work on news ideas to make browsing the web on whatever device more awesome.
Thx for reply! I'll be waiting for this feature.
P.S. Do I need to close this topic (press "Solved the problem")?
