I am new to Thunderbird. I can't find a way to change the message pane to vertical ie side by side with the list of emails rather than below the list of email as it has set up. Please could someone tell me how to do this. Thankyou

Thanks very much didn't realise there was a hidden menu!

There had been a hidden menu since the beginning of Windows. The Menu Bar. The alt key or F10 reveals it. If you want the menu bar to display all the time go to View-Toolbars and turn it on.

You could also use the 3 horizontal line AppMenu button to find Layout and change it from there. It is not hidden.

Look around the menus. Who know what you might find. :)
