Hello! Before I stat the problem, here is what I am using:

∆ Macbook (Mid 2012) - current software ∆ New version of Firefox (I just downloaded it like 10 minutes ago)

Alright, now that we have that out of the way, here is my problem. I went to look at themes and I finally found a cool/cute cat theme that I wanted. I go to add it so that it can show up on the bar of the browser, but it doesn't work. When I drag my mouse to preview it, the theme pops up but as soon as I drag the mouse away the theme goes away. I can add the theme to a collection, and even to my "Favorite Themes", yet I can't have the theme apply to my browser. If anyone can help that would be great!

P.S. I've also made some of the information public idk if you can see it

IMHO, this problem can be solved by refreshing Firefox, through the following instructions:

The Refresh feature (called "Reset" in older Firefox versions) can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information.

Note: When you use this feature, you will lose any extensions, toolbar customizations, and some preferences. See the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article for more information.

To Refresh Firefox:

  1. Open the Troubleshooting Information page using one of these methods:
    • Click the menu button New Fx Menu, click help Help-29 and select Troubleshooting Information. A new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
    • If you're unable to access the Help menu, type about:support in your address bar to bring up the Troubleshooting Information page.
  2. At the top right corner of the page, you should see a button that says "Refresh Firefox" ("Reset Firefox" in older Firefox versions). Click on it.
  3. Firefox will close. After the refresh process is completed, Firefox will show a window with the information that is imported.
  4. Click Finish and Firefox will reopen.

Did this fix the problem? Please report back to us!

Thank you.

You should see a button to add this lightweight theme to Firefox if you hover the theme with the mouse. You can access the about:addons page to select what theme to use:

  • "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
