Recently many of the emails that I have sent have apparently not been received. Some people that I have spoken to later have said that they have never received my emails, and have then find that the email in question has gone into their junk folder. What is going on ?

You may be inadvertantly sending emails that trigger 'spam' filters. First check to see that you are sending emails with authentication. Right click on mail account in Folder pane and select 'Settings' Bottom right - it will say which outgoing server you are using. Bottom left pane: click on 'Outgoing server (SMTP)' It will show list of outgoing servers. select the correct one and check the details. click on 'Edit' to make modifications. Make sure Authentication Method: has eg: normal Password' selected. click on OK

In left Pane select 'Server Settings' for the mail account on right side 'Authentication Method:' normal password click on OK

Actual Email: check the content, subject etc. Are you sending alot of emails as bulk mail? do you send a bulk mail (one email to several recipients) using only bcc?

Whilst this link is google gmail, similar practise is used generally.
