How can I eliminate popups in the lower right of the browser ?
These types of popups promote videos and additional articles on the site. I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT ROGUE ADS !!!! Many sites have them now. They are not ads ! They are site-specific, often promoting other content. Some of them can be closed but others can't - and who wants to be closing those things all the time because they obscure what I am trying to read or look at.
If you don't specifically know, plz do not post "it could be...", and "you might try..." I have gone in circles for days via speculative answers.
Any assistance is appreciated ! The image attached is exactly what I am talking about.

Support techs: this is other major pain for me right now. All my customers hate it. I am an applications guy but never turn away their phone calls for any other issue.
Adblock Plus {web link} Blocks annoying video ads on YouTube, Facebook ads, banners and much more. Adblock Plus blocks all annoying ads, and supports websites by not blocking unobtrusive ads by default (configurable).
Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon {web link} Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon extends the blocking functionality of Adblock Plus to those annoying pop-up windows that open on mouse clicks and other user actions.

That image is a little blurry. Do you want to post a URL to a specific page that does it?
Obviously sites want you to stick around as long as possible and will use a variety of techniques to cross-promote their content. These change over time and it's unlikely you will find a universal solution that targets just the things you do not want to see. I suggest telling those sites you find the content blocking annoying so they can take that into consideration in their next redesign.
I have AdBlock PLus and the popup Addon.

Breitbart has no links to tell any employees anything. They don;t care what the users think.
Well, hopefully you'll find an add-on to fix it, then. Or look for a site that respects its users more.
See the type of popup in the image.
Have you tried clicking the X top right corner of the ad?

Yes, but that is the pain I am trying to eliminate.
I hear you friend.
Yeah, the websites seem to be able to stay ahead of remedies to their annoying popups, popunders and annoying objects. I hope the developers of addons are on top of this...
