How can I open Inbox without moving to the left past past e-mails? I want an Inbox short cut like Outlook, my former e-mail.l

When I open Thunderbird, I expect to have an Inbox shortcut. But the only way I can figure it out is to go to the top of the page and click left arrow past previous e-mails. Can I set up a short cut for Inbox on my opening screen? Thanks. Wayne

Sounds like you have lots of messages open in tabs. Start closing them after reading them or turn the Message Pane on and read your mail there. To clean up what you have now right click one of the open tabs and select Close Other Tabs. Pressing F8 toggles the Message Pane on and off.

Thunderbird opens just like you closed it. If you leave it a mess when you close it the same mess will be waiting for you when you open it next time.
