When I was working on my website dashboard for the blog section, I received a message, "Blocked by Content Security Policy". My website is hosted by Vistaprint. I don't post controversial content. It is a Christian health and wellness website, so all of my blog posts reflect that content. Why am I blocked? Can you help? Thank you.

hi Totallyfit4Life, a "content security policy" is implemented on the web server running your site - this is a security measure that can tell the browser, for example, not to connect to content embedded on your domain other than certain whitelisted addresses: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Security/CSP/Introducing_Content_Security_Policy

if you have not implemented this intentionally, you should get in contact with your hosting provider or the person who has set up your blog/website in order to fix that...

I am still trying to get Vistaprint to check things out from their side. Can you please investigate the issue further? This message is only appearing in the "Blog" portion of the dashboard from my website builder/maintenance side on Mozilla Firefox. Their customer support needs more distinct information, otherwise they only read from a script rather than really troubleshoot.

i guess the "security" section of the firefox web console would give you more information about those csp-errors, that you can then hand to your hoster to fix the problem with their policy.

note that there is also a second user at https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1131148 reporting this issue with vistaprint, so you're not alone with this issue.

Vistaprint is still trying to straighten out the "Blocked by Content Security Policy" issue. This is very frustrating. I have recommended they contact you to resolve.
