Trying to open a PDF attachment, get the message msoxmled.exe - system error, AppVisvSubsystem64.dll is missing. Adobe Reader works otherwise.

When I get a PDF attachment, and click to open it, I get the message msoxmled.exe - system error, AppVisvSubsystem64.dll is missing. If I save the attachment to the desktop, and then double click on it, the PDF opens correctly in Adobe Reader. I only see this message when opening the attachment in Thunderbird. Thanks for any help

well that file with the error is part of Microsoft office.

On the toolbar > Options > attachments > incoming and delete whatever is listed there for PDF files.
