When viewing a message in a folder, such as Inbox, how can I skip forward or backward in the list to the next message without returning to the inbox or folder tab? I am used to clicking an up or down arrow in Outlook to move in the message list.

I guess it depends on where you are viewing the message.

If using the Message Pane, turned on by pressing F8, the arrow keys work.

If using a new tab or window then you use f (forward), b (back) or n (next unread), p (previous unread).

The spacebar is useful for moving through a long message and it will jump to the next unread message when you get to the end of the one you have displayed.
