I keep bookmarking pages into a specific folder but they don't show up in that folder.
I keep bookmarking pages for my bookmark folder (called games) and none of them show up in that folder. Help.

Try to move out existing bookmarks in that folder and delete and recreate this Games bookmarks folder.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Bookmarks+not+saved#w_fix-the-bookmarks-file
- Places Maintenance: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/places-maintenance/
Tried this and it didn't work.
What did you try?
Is that the only folder that gives problems?
Are you using Sync?
Try to remove all places.sqlite file(s) in the Firefox profile folder to make Firefox rebuild the places.sqlite database from the most recent JSON backup (bookmarks-YYYY-MM-DD_<item count>_<hash value>.json) in the bookmarkbackups folder.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
If you use Sync then best is to disconnect Sync (temporarily) while performing maintenance/repair efforts to the places.sqlite database.

I had tried those options before and this one and it didn't work.
