When I get a message with a big xml file attached, I have to wait for a long time until Thunderbird reads and displayes all the file content. How to avoid this.

Any attached files like Word or Excel files are only displayed as attachments in a bottom bar of the incoming message without rendering of those content. But Thunderbird always tries to read xml file content to display ALL it's content. If the file is big It takes very much time, so Thunderbirds usually hangs on, so I have to reboot it.

I would like to be able to make some settings to prevent showing the content of attached xml files in incoming messages. Thank you.
