Hi RzuKhan,

I have two solutions for you, can you give me the last 4 crash reports?

You can get this information by typing about:crashes in your address bar.

The second solution is, if you're trying to uninstall FireFox, please make sure it is closed.. You can check if FireFox is 100% closed, by going to start manager and checking if it is open.

If you just would like to downgrade your firefox, please click this link below: Installing an older version information

From what I have been reading from other posts on this forum, the issue may be caused by the clear history settings.

Press the <Alt> or <F10> key to bring up the tool bar. Followed by;

Windows; Tools > Options Linux; Edit > Preferences Mac; application name > Preferences

Then Privacy.

The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.

At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on ONLY Cache and Form And Search History leaving the others off.

This is not a cure but will make it easier if Firefox locks up. https://support.mozilla.org/questions/997866?esab=a&s=&r=1&as=s {web link}

Either restart your PC or open the Windows Task Manager > Processes tabs and "End Process" for firefox .exe.

But it might be easier to "fix" what's wrong first ....

If you have submitted crash reports then please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that have a "bp-" prefix:

  • bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

You can find the IDs of the submitted crash reports on the about:crashes page.

  • You can open the about:crashes page via the location bar, like you open a website, or open the crash reports page via "Help > Troubleshooting Information".
