When I click on a bookmarks folder or one of the item in the menu bar, the menu is blinking very fast and it is very hard to read each items.

If Firefox is open on the main monitor, this problem never happen.

Try to disable hardware acceleration as that may not work properly with the second monitor.

You're welcome.

If disabling hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

Firefox 3 versions do not have hardware acceleration.
That was added in Firefox starting with Firefox 4.
You may have a different problem.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
