Firefox won't load Gmail without refreshing the page (when fixed in a tab)
Since a while ago Firefox has been having problems with loading Gmail in the fixed tab I have it on. My other fixed tab is twitter, and it works normally.
Thing with Gmail is that the page remains blank, with nothing on. If I hit F5 it loads properly and normally - but that's not the point of having a fixed tab.
I have tried several times to close the fixed tab, open a new tab, type in "gmail.com" and then it loads properly. After that, I fix it, and when I close the browser and open again the tab doesn't load and stays white, just like before. The address that is loaded after I type in "gmail.com" and the address that stays "saved" in the tab is "https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox" - but that address works normally after hitting F5, so I have no idea what's going on...

No one with any tips on helping me out?

Hi Pj! Sadly it's not... I just tried it (for the first time, I admit), but it also didn't load. The Gmail icon appears on the tab, but the window content is still blank... it loaded fine after hitting F5.

- Is Tracker Protection On? Is it any different with it Off or if you make gMail an Exception?
- How many Tabs are Pinned? How many regular Tabs do you have going?
- If you last have gMail loaded and in view, when you close and ReStart FF, is gMail loaded up or still blank?
- Other than gMail, if you have multiple Tabs, Pinned or regular, do they load-up upon starting FF or is only one Tab per Window only loading-up?

I do not have that feature on the version I am using, it seems.

Only two: Gmail and twitter. I do not use the browser with tons of "working" tabs either.

Still blank. I have it loaded everytime I close the browser.

Like I said above, I only have two fixed tabs. twitter opens nicely 100% of the times.

- Based on the messages posted here, I only view/reply to posts with Windows-7 and FF 61.xx. Your post is Tagged with FF Version 61.xx. If you have FF 61.xx, you don't see Tracker Protection in the Options area? When you click on the circled 'i' in front of the green padlock in the URL Bar, what does it say about Tracker Protection? (Mine says no TP detected.)
- Why do you have Pinned Tabs if they are the only Tabs in that browser Window? Do the 2 Tabs work ok if they are unPinned? Pin-Tabbing is for when you have a number of regular Tabs that require scrolling. Here's where Pinned Tabs come into play - they're always kept in view. No to need to scroll and find you favorite Tabs - they're Pinned to stay in view.
- Otherwise, create another duplicate gMail Tab. Does at least one gMail Tab work? Try a gMail Tab with 'All Mail' instead of 'Inbox'.
