I had the old version of Sync (propably) and I am trying to set ut Firefox on my new Mac. I now discover that Sync has been upgraded. It seems my old data is lost. However, I was able to access my bookmarks on Friday the 4th of December, but have no possibility to access the data now, it seems.

None of my emailaddresses is associated with any account, but the data is obviously there. I have the username, the password, but what to do to regain my thousands of bookmarks?

The previous version of Sync (used in Firefox 28 and earlier versions) was shutdown at the beginning of October, the servers were pulled out of service. Firefox 29 and newer used the latest version of Sync.

The users email address that was used to set up the Sync account has been used at the "username' for the account since before Sync was built into Firefox with Firefox 4.0. The original Weave extension did allow for a separate username rather than using the email address, but that ended in like December 2010 with Firefox 4.0 beta 8.
