I can no longer find the controls for read, delete, save, send,archive, etc have disappeared and get them back. I can read emails but can't answer them.

I was using Thunderbird on my old computer so I continued with it when I first got my new Surface Pro 3 but eventually changed to Outlook which came with it. It was great for incoming emails and saving what I wanted in mailboxes but I couldn't send or reply as Microsoft blocked them so I still had to go to Thunderbird for sending out or replying. Now with this problem I can't send anything out.

Before I ever started using Microsoft Outlook had blocked outgoing emails saying that some emails had gone out that they thought might have been spam or junk. They gave directions for unblocking which didn't work. I eventually got back on to them with someone to talk to. I spent hours with them on the phone. They did everything including check me for viruses (none) and eventually sent test emails which seemed to go through but I still seem to be blocked. So it important to get this Thunderbird problem fixed as I can't reply to anything or send out at the moment'

Not sure why all the Outlook history as it is irrelevant. Open a Write window. Do you have a Menu Bar with File-Edit-View etc? If not press the alt key. From the Menu Bar select View-Toolbars and turn the missing toolbars back on. Send is on the Composition Toolbar.

I did the alt and toolbar thing but it didn't give me the open toolbar option only 'menu bar' and 'mail toolbar' but won't take me any further'. Sorry. Ros321

If you see mail toolbar then you are in the main window and not the WRITE window as stated in the instructions.
