I'm trying to remove a bunch of unwanted search engines so I can establish Google as my main search engine. I have clicked on settings and set Google as my main search engine, but that didn't work. When I click to remove all other search engine the Remove button doesn't work and won't do anything. Not even the restart to default settings button is functioning. I need to fix the problem quick because it is locked on a virus search setting (it download itself in an update) and every time I use the search bar it downloads so many viruses it crashes my computer. Help Please!!!

Sounds like you have picked up some Malware.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
