the ff dropdown bookmark toolbar is very simple. easy to add organizational folders and move bookmarks around. moreover, to export and import to usb stick and other device quite easy. have used ff bookmark toolbar for years on windows and linux netbooks. have installed ff on android tablet, but cannot add same toolbar so i can effortlessly switch to,and use, new tablet. Does ff have any plans to add the traditional bm toolbar for android users. my bookmarks on android tablet take forever to find when looking for them.

HI joessssss, This is one of the top requested features in Firefox for Android, however it is complicated to add a manager to the bookmarks currently in Firefox for Android. Unfortunately I do not have an ETA when this will be available. Currently the work around for this is to connect the device to a sync account and manage the bookmark folders in the Bookmark Manager.

Thank you for reply. Can you tell me what tablet operating systems ff bookmark toolbar works with? I am starting to realize that most tablets really aren't computers, but good for video and music. I would rather buy a different device if I can simply and effortlessly move between my home PC and mobile tablet.

You would need to be using desktop Firefox to have a bookmarks toolbar. While there are tablet like devices that run desktop operating systems they tend to have a short battery life, be more expensive and are heavier than traditional tablets. For example the Microsoft Surface Pro would be the closest device that I can think of.
