wix website
I have a website which is made using wix, I cannot seem to use the website builder when using firefox, it works on every other browser, camino, safari, tenfourfox etc but not firefox. also the actual website matthewbirchall.co.uk isnt displayed correctly when viewing it on firefox. The text is bunched up rather than in a line, every other browser seems to show it as I made it on wix. Just concerned as several people who use firefox have mentioned this. thanks

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:
- Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
- Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
- Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
- From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
- Now click the Clear now button.
Further information can be found in the Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox article.

What is telling you to update to Firefox 8?
Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

There really is a problem with Wix sites under Firefox. Some of Wix's own pages will fail. Try "http://www.wix.com/about/us". It loads as a blank page for me under both Firefox 26.0 on Ubuntu 12.4LTS/64 bit and on Firefox 25.0.1 on Win7/64 bit.
I've tried disabling all add-ons. No change. I've tried loading a browser with an empty environment using the "cfx run" environment on Win7. Still shows a blank page. The page code is loading, and it's some incredibly complex content management system. There's no visible HTML content on the page itself; it's all created with Javascript. Bad JavaScript. The browser console output is below. (It's even worse if you run under cfx and see the Javascript run in strict mode.) The error
SecurityError: The operation is insecure. basics.min.js:4
may be aborting JavaScript code, preventing the page content from loading.
Over at the Wix support web site, they blame Firefox. See: "http://www.wix.com/support/forum/flash/getting-online/publish-your-site/site-not-showing-in-mozilla-firefox".
You guys fight it out.
Browser console output: (Unreable because somebody made the Mozilla site "mobile compatible" for tiny screens, but that's your problem.)(GET lines remove to satisfy comment line limitation.)

I just loaded the linked website on Firefox 26.0 on Windows XP Service Pack 3.
It loaded correctly.
