how can i stop firefox from opening a new tab everytime I click anything on the browser
whenever I click or point anywhere on firefox, a new tab will open to http://download-start.com/?aspid=a278a0e56df428562d5072bf6b4dbdeb&SourceId=355&CreativeId=18399430&LineItemId=5734966&PublisherId=619892&SectionId=177555785&ymid=00011da109fa63fd94898b658da047f783b81 and it is so annoying as even clicking on the scroll bar will open this tab. please help me find solution to this. I can't even finish typing this because I had to scroll down to see the full page.

hello, this sounds like a problem possibly caused by malware on your pc. please go to firefox > addons > extensions & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc). also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and do a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and different other tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

how will I know which add on don't have any use?
I have installed both malwarebytes and adwcleaner, both didn't find any threats after scan. and still encountering the same problems, even if I have disabled all the add ons.
does it work when you reset firefox?
