where is the tool bar?
at the top of my page is the word 'firefox" and a down arrow. when i click on it my choices are: New tab which leads to a picture of a star and the work book mark. I have no tool bar, how do i get one.

You can permanently display the Menu Bar if you prefer it:
- right-click in the empty area at the right side of the tab bar
- click on Menu Bar to place a check mark
- the Menu Bar should now be permanently displayed and the Firefox button in the upper left will no longer be displayed.
- you can reverse the change by repeating and click Menu Bar to remove the check mark.
Just curious; you mentioned only the New Tab and Bookmark options on the Firefox button. There should be several other items, in 2 columns. Do you see other options? If you do, you can accomplish the display of the Menu Bar by choosing Options / Toolbar Layout to get the same small menu as in the above instructions for clicking/selecting Menu Bar.
