A web page asks for a client certificate without the option to select certificate.

Whenever I go to websites that require a client certificate, Firefox always goes straight to the "The page requires a client certificate" and never brings up a prompt to actually select said certificate. When I use these sites in Internet Explorer I don't have any problems. I would prefer to use Firefox since I download things every time I go to these websites and Firefox does this much faster than Internet Explorer, if IE will let me even navigate to it at all.

Try: Tools > Options > Advanced > Encryption: Certificates

Tried that already. I also tried exporting the certificate from the card and importing it to Firefox. I've played with all the settings I could think of.

I may have the same problem. At one time I may have given the site the wrong certificate. The "remember this" checkbox seems to override the "always ask" Options setting. I don't know how to "undo" this incorrect association of certificate X with site Y. Is there some way to make Firefox forget or, as the setting says "Always Ask" darnit.
