The crashes happen at a rate of one every few days, but they can happen once or more a day, if I do a lot of surfing. Firefox crashes while a page is in the middle of loading up. It also crashes when my laptop enters sleep mode, if I left a window open. Whenever I don't load anything with Firefox (i.e., when Firefox is in a quiet state on a non-sleeping mode of the laptop), there are no crashes.

The attached ID is for the latest crash that has a crash report. There have been many other crashes over the past five or so months.

The first image contains the window that shows up before Firefox closes. Firefox closes after I get rid of the window, and I can't do anything with the browser, once that little window appears. The second image contains the window that shows up 30 to 90 seconds after Firefox closes. I can still do things even after this window shows up.

Next time I see the second window, I'll click the blue underlined text for more information. I'll capture that information's image and post the image. In hindsight, I should have done that with the specific window that was captured in the second image.
