Firefox crashes when I open Netflix or Amazon Prime Video
I have an older PC but it was working fine with Netflix and Prime Video until this latest update (v89.0). It seems that when I try to go to Netflix or Amazon Prime Video the browser crashes almost instantly, and usually shuts my whole computer off. It doesn't go to a blue screen, the computer just decides it's time to reboot. Now again, I'm using an older machine (and I can't afford a new one), but this was never a problem until this latest version of Firefox.
I am also not a fan of the aesthetics in this version and I'm wondering if I can revert back to an older version where the crashing was less frequent. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you very much for your reply. Interestingly, there are no crash reports from 2021, or 2020. There was one crash report in 2019 and the rest are from 2018 and below. What appears to be happening is that when I load Netflix or Prime Video, (or even YouTube I forgot to mention), it's the system that crashes not specifically the browser. The browser attempts to load the site -- which takes up more resources than my dying computer can handle -- and shuts off. It's not really a browser issue so much as a hardware issue.
This computer is 13+ years old and certain components are starting to fail. I think it's just time I buy a new PC, sadly. I'm just broke so I'm not sure how I'm going to do that.

First, let's see if Firefox recorded anything.
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>.
Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of
the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 Submitted crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

Open the file browser / explorer on your computer. Note: You may have to enable Show Hidden Folders / Files. Enter this in the address bar;
Windows: %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted Win 7/Vista: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted Win XP/2000: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted Win 10: Press <Windows> + R on the keyboard. A Run dialog will open. In the Run dialog, type %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted <Enter>
Mac OS: /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Crash Reports/submitted
Linux: /home/<username>/.mozilla/firefox/Crash Reports/submitted
Copy the most Recent 5-7 File Names in the folder. Press the Reply button. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.
Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

If the problem goes away with the computer in Safe Mode,
the problem is with one of the other programs on the system.
As a test, disable your protection programs.
