So I am having the subject not matching the body of the mail issue. Click on a email header / subject and the email presented is not correct (matching) to the header. Emails on the server webmail are displayed correctly. Of course, going to Properties and Repair was the first thing tried. Did not resolve the issue. Tried to manually compact and then rebuild index / repair and still no avail.

I have multiple email accounts on Thunderbird and all but one are working properly. Also notable is that this same issue is being experienced by 2 different Windows based computers. They are not sharing the email database files - those are stored locally on each computer.

Just to be thorough with all my details, all my email accounts - those functioning and the one not-functioning - are all being hosted with GoDaddy. They have been contacted and they affirmed everything looks fine to them.

I am working on the assumption that something is causing the index rebuild to not complete. Manual removal will either fix the issue, or result in no index, hence nothing displayed in the list view. As I have never seen that happen I think you are good to go.

On the toolbar > Help > Troubleshooting Information -> Show Folder button to display the profile in explorer or finder. Close Thunderbird

open the mail folder, or if your account is IMAP, the IMAPMail folder. Locate the folder for the mail server and delete all MSF files in that folder.
