Firefox crashes

I first started to suffer from multiple Google sign-in tabs opening, one after the other. Sometimes one would open if a clicked on a link and other times one would open on a regular basis without me even using the PC. I once went out and when I came back, eight such tabs had opened.

I sought help in the forums and, as a result, I disabled all add-ons and extensions, which seemed to cure the problem. Then I started suffering multiple crashes, even in safe mode. I was advised to submit a crash report and here is the latest: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-ef5af577-ba40-4db1-9c6a-ab8d92160313

hi david, thanks for providing a crash id. unfortunately this crash is caused by trusteer rapport which is running on your device and hooking into firefox - please check that you are fully updated there or temporarily disable/uninstall that software for the moment.

please also get in contact with trusteer's support which are usually very quick to respond and fix issues like this: https://trusteer.secure.force.com/PKB/articles/en_US/FAQ/browser-crashes

Thank you for that. I looked at the Trusteer list of incompatible software and discovered that Kaspersky Safe Money is incompatible, so I switched that off and it seems to have done the trick. Firefox has been running since last night and has not crashed!

I loaded Kaspersky a week ago in an attempt to rid myself of malware and it is has been OK until now.

Many thanks for your help, David
