this is on a rooted motorola Xoom running Omnirom. FF (latest) worked fine but after an update stopped fading the status bar. All statuses {open/switch, close/undo, installed/addons} would just stick to the window even in fullscreen mode.

I used about:config to supress undo, a tab addon to suppress switch, but still have 'installed' status sticking. I tried downgrading to older versions (fennec-34.0.en-US, fennec-30.0.en-US) but issue persists. I've cleared cache, history, etc... to no avail.

This obstructs my view and makes FF un-usable. Please provide a tip. TIA
