Can terms be excluded from add-on searches?
I want to search for a Google add-on that has nothing to do with image or translate. When I type those terms as -image and -translate, I still get results for those terms. Is there a way to narrow a search down by excluding terms? Thanks in advance.

You can't use search parameters if you use the search bar on the Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions page. That is only possible if you search via the www.google.com website.

Are you searching on Google for a specific Firefox extension or are you looking for extensions to be used in Google Chrome?
I am searching on Firefox for an add on to Firefox.
Thanks

I am searching on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ I type those terms as -image and -translate in order to exclude them, but I still get results for those terms. In fact, most of the results are for image related add-ons. So, from your reply I assume that simply putting the minus sign in front of terms you want to exclude does not work on the search bar on the Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions page or when searching via https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/.
As for searching via Google search, I just went there and entered "Site:https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ Google search right click -image -images -translate -translation" and it didn't return any pages with the excluded terms. So, I'll go that route to exclude terms. Unfortunately, it didn't give me what i was looking for, either, but I'm thinking that's because what I want does not exist.
Thanks for your help.
