I downloaded Firefox 18 recently and previously Firefox would remember my last session out of the blue and I didn't wanted it to. I wanted it to go to my Home page like I had it set, and now Firefox 18 is doing the same thing. I read Norton 360 can sometimes have something to with it so I changed those settings and still Firefox goes to the last page(s). how do I get it so every time I quit a session and then go back it goes to my home page every time?

You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that sets the browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once pref to true.

If you do not keep changes after a restart then see:

it was helpful, but unfortunately it didn't solve my problem. Thank you though.

What is the startup setting?

  • Tools > Options > General > Startup: When Firefox Starts: Show my home page

That's why it's a problem it's already set to "show me homepage" but it still remembers my last session, no mater how many tabs I have open.
