Since updating to Adobe Reader 10.1.3, I noticed Firefox 11 does not display PDF files. It just shows a blank screen.

The only workaround I found is disabling the Adobe Acrobat NPAPI Plug-in (ver. 10.1.3) the update installs. Firefox will prompt which application to use.Choosing Preview allows the PDFs to display correctly.

Neither Chrome or Safari exhibit this behavior, nor does Firefox 11 (Windows) with the update installed.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Still an issue in FF 13. The NPAPI plugin info page says:

"The Adobe Acrobat plugin doesn't work on Mac OS X in default (64-bit) mode, showing a blank page when users click on links to PDF files in Firefox. It also causes a significant number of crashes in 32-bit mode."

Which means the only option is to disable it on the plug-in page and force PDF's to open in Preview or Adobe Reader under Preferences-->Applications. This is NOT a solution - it simply is a disabling of the entire feature altogether. Please fix this!!!

I have Mac OSX running Firefox 15.0.1 and Adobe reader 10.1.4 with the latest NPAPI plugin and still have this problem, so Adobe obviously aren't going to fix this issue!

Note that if you're running OSX in VMware, ALL NPAPI plugins are broken, not just Adobe Reader.
