Firefox closing on first startup
This has been going on for a while now, since I want to switch from a certain popular browser to Firefox which I have on another computer, I tried to install Firefox Developer Edition first as I just prefer it and it has some features of which I use sometimes.
However, when I tried to open the browser, it shows a window for like a millisecond then closes. I've also tried with a normal install of Firefox and the same thing happens. I've looked into the Profiles and here is what I've found:
A folder called startupCache (empty) And a file called .startup-incomplete (empty)
Here's what I get when I install dev edition and try to run it:
Two folders, one is dev-edition-default, and the other is dev-edition-default-a very big number
I'll provide a screenshot in this post so you understand all the profile folders.

A folder called doomed (empty) And a folder called entries (it has files in it)
In the dev-edition-default-verybignumber I have just startupcache and .startup-incomplete.
If anyone has any idea how to fix neither of my Firefoxes stating up, please let me know!

Reinstall the Visual C++ Redistributable.
Parental controls in your Microsoft account can block certain browsers from starting. Does it still happen if you rename firefox.exe to something else?

Renaming it seemed to work! Strange since I don't have parental controls enabled, but it works anyways. Thank you very much :)
DRM protected videos won't work with a modified exe filename.
You may have parental controls enabled on your account without knowing it. The web content filtering feature is controlled by the parent account. You can try creating a new account, leave the family group or get the parent account to disable it.
