When I display the review page for any installed add-on, I'm unable to submit a review. A few details:

1) I do not see the expected, "Rate Your Experience" link 2) I'm logged onto my Firefox account 3) I'm aware it uses different credentials than Mozilla Support 4) I've tried clicking on the yellow stars but it doesn't allow me to rate the plug in or display any new links 5) I've read other forum posts from other users who've experienced the same symptoms

Ideas, anyone? Thanks,

- Fido

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Thanks, Fred. unfortunately none of the recommendations worked. I tried deleting mozilla.org cookies, disabling enhanced tracking, smartblock, updating to the latest Firefox, etc. I'm not running any browser security add-ons or software which should affect a browser.

I suspect the site thinks I haven't installed the add-ons therefore it doesn't provide a "Rate Your Experience" link. So the question is, how does the site normally determine this, through Firefox? And why is that mechanism not working in my case (and for other people)?

Well, I finally figured out what it was: POOR WEB DESIGN.

I disabled all my extensions like umatrix and ublock, and turned off Firefox's built in security . . . and I still couldn't rate! (Also, deleted browsing data, blah, blah, blah . . .) None of that mattered. The rating function is not on the first, NOR THE SECOND page when you're looking for it, if you're starting from firefox settings.

ANSWER: From the Firefox extensions page (about:addons), click on the extension you want, then scroll to the bottom and click the link on the bottom right, where it says <x number> reviews. You will now be on what appears to be the "Reviews" page (url even ends in "/reviews/"). You can not click any stars or review from this page. You now have to click on the title of the extension at the top left of the page (in blue), to go to the addon's main page. From there, you can click a star level and subsequently leave a review.

TLDR: Click "reviews" at bottom right of the extension's page in Firefox settings. Then click blue extension name at top of page. Then rate/review.
