For systems running 64-bit Vista, the 64-bit Firefox 52 ESR indicates it requires Windows 7. Is this intended? Is there a 64-bit version for Vista?

52.0 ESR 32-bit installs ok on Vista 64-bit, and self-updates ok to 52.6. Or on 32-bit XP, for that matter. But the 64-bit 52.0 ESR applied to the same Vista systems refuses to install, indicating it requires Windows 7 or later. It appears that means there's no 64-bit Firefox compatible with XP 64-bit or Vista 64-bit. Is that correct? Is it intended? Suggested alternatives?

Ever since the Win64 Firefox builds existed on the development channels and then finally for Release starting at Firefox 42.0 they required 64-bit Windows 7 and later to run.

WinXP/Vista is barely being supported now days anyways as Firefox 52.9.0esr out on June 26 will be the last Release apart from any minor 52.9.x esr updates for security/stability fixes that will still run on WinXP/Vista.
