I just got this laptop delivered today. I've tried downloading all my programs I need using Firefox but it takes about 10 mins for any website page to load. I thought that it might be the internet connection (hotspot from my phone), but as soon as I started using Microsoft Edge, it worked perfectly fine. I would still like to use Firefox, but if there isn't a solution, I'll be forced to revert to using Egde.

What is your computer system and Firefox?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Thanks for the reply! Sorry I'm not computer savvy..It's an Intel i7 if that's what you mean...and the latest Firefox. I just tried in safe mode and it's just as slow. However, I just tried hooking it up to my sister's broadband router and Firefox started running as fast as Edge. When I get back on my hotspot however, it goes back to slow and Edge still runs fast.

Sounds like a problem with your 'Hot Spot.' Contact its support.

If it's a problem with my hotspot, then why is it super quick using Edge?

Thanks for nothing Mozilla. Looks like I'll be using Microsoft Edge from now on.
