Favorites on Android not syncing to desktop
I have the most recent versions of FireFox.
I start items when browsing on the phone (Samsung S5). These favorites do ever show up on the desktop.
Bookmarks is checked in the sync settings; I see last sync an hour ago. Sync in the other direction seems fine.
On the desktop, searching for starred items from the phone never finds them.

Can you go to check the desktop Bookmark --> Show all bookmark --> Then you find a folder called Mobile bookmark Click on it you will find the bookmark (Favorites ) that you done on mobile.
I forgot to mention checking this. Of course, search of bookmarks in the bookmarks manager should have shown any in mobile bookmarks too.
However, the contents of mobile bookmarks has not changed in at least a year and a half even though I star things on my phone all the time.
This is true on all of the half dozen computers on which I run Firefox.
Please note that I have been using the same FireFox profiles since FireFox first came out.
