after downloading firefox i cannot find it on the desktop
I downloaded firefox. Later when I tried to find Firefox I could not find the symbol on my desktop

If you have already run the installer, it might not have created a shortcut to Firefox on your desktop. Try typing Firefox in the Search box on the Start menu/screen and see if anything comes up.
