Could you check a couple things:
(1) Make sure the LastPass toolbar is "checked" in either of these places:
- right-click a blank area of the tab bar
- View menu > Toolbars (you can use Alt+v to open that menu)
(2) If necessary, use the Customize feature to see whether controls have moved to the wrong toolbar or have returned to the button palette/Customize dialog. The Customize feature is available from the above two menus.
Any luck?
Sometimes the file that stores your toolbar customizations becomes corrupted. Although it is not practical to repair it, you can rename the file and customize from scratch. To do that:
Open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using
Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button
Switch back to Firefox and Exit
Pause while Firefox finishes its cleanup, then rename localstore.rdf to something like localstore.old
Restart Firefox. Hopefully now after customizing it will work normally.
Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.
