Hello, I own www.laurenshope.com I have several customers who use Fire Fox as their browser. Lately, I have had several customers call and say that they have placed an item in the cart, then continued shopping. When they were ready to check out it told them their cart was empty. This is really frustrating to them and me. What can I do on the back end of our site to make it compatible with FireFox? This happened last year as well in October. Have you recently launched an update? We strive to make our site compatible with all browsers. If there is anything I can do please let me know.

I assume that the content of that cart is stored in a cookie that needs to be send to your server.
If that cookie isn't send for some reason then such an issue can happen.
They can also try:

  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Visitors can check that they do not run Firefox in Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode or have an extension that blocks cookies. See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems
