I have Thunderbird version 102.8.0

All the help advice I've found tell me to open the menu - three horizontal lines and go to Options. Alternatively, do the same but go to Preferences. Another suggestion is to Open Tools in the toolbar and go to Options. Options does not appear since I updated.

In Menu, after the e-mail settings, I get : File View Go Message Events and Tasks Tools Help Exit

None of these offer any links to Options, Preferences or Passwords.

In new versions, the wording sometimes changes. In 102, you want - settings>privacy&security - from there, you can click 'saved passwords' and then 'show passwords' - to change, you can highlight the row, right click and menu option to edit password appears

David - many thanks. Easy when you know how.

I'm ashamed to say I went into that page and was too dim to notice the Show Passwords button in the section talking about Master Password.

I got it into my head to go into my .default file and search for the passwords in the pop3 items there!

You're very welcome. Those changing words have confused more than you. I'm glad all is okay now.
