The new Firefox 98 has broken some functionality my company users in our ERP. Instead of passing a file type off to the needed application, it is now downloading it so my users have to then click in the downloads area to execute the call for the report.

Per the release notes, there should be an option to ALWAYS OPEN SIMILAR FILES in the down loads section but its not there on any of our PC's.

Anyone run into this yet?

Note that the "Always Open Similar Files" option is a menu item in the context (right-click) menu for downloaded files listed in the Downloads panel or Downloads Library window, to set an installed application to open similar files.

If this option is missing even though you are able to open that type of file with an associated application installed on your computer, here's a recent question that may be helpful: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1370591 Downloads panel: Missing "Always Open Similar Files" for kdbx (keypass)
