Forget About This Site function is worst UX I have ever come across.

When I press CTRL + H I am in a history tab, right?

Therefore I am under the impression that I am working with my history, AND NOTHING ELSE.

Because I can't shift multi-select history items to delete a lot at once (also bad UX), I see the option to "Forget About This Site".

Aha, I think, that will help remove unnecessary clutter, so I can see a bunch of websites that I need for a project I am working on.

I have now discovered that the "Forget About This Site" also DELETES PASSWORDS OF THE SITE WITHOUT TELLING ME IT IS GOING TO DO SO.

This is infinitely beyond Microsoft levels of UX disconnect from human thinking.

The person who came up with this functionality needs to be banned from ever working in UX or programming for humans ever again.

I have lost countless passwords to countless sites merely because I wanted to quickly remove bunches of sites from my history.

Keep modes of UX separate! History tab is for editing history. Password tab is for editing passwords. It's not rocket science. Don't add functionality for the sake of it. If the function will delete something as important as a password to a website, maybe, just maybe, GIVE A WARNING IN BIG BRIGHT BOLD LETTERS.

Just found out I can do that, was never selecting far enough to the left. My fault, but the rest of my rant still stands.
