Hi: Pre Thunderbird 78, I could take an ics event file, drag it to the Events column on the right hand side of the calendar and it would correctly import all relevant data onto an event window. I could then simply click on add and that would be the end of it. Event was imported. With the Thunderbird 78 update, there is no way to add an event with ics file. The same process as above opens an event window but simply places the ics file as an attachment. No information is read so it is useless. Using the import command (Events and Tasks / Import) reads the event correctly but fails to add the event. If I click on Import Event, dialog exists but event is not added. If I click Import Everything, there is an error. Can someone please shed some light on this? Thank you
