Firefox 67.0.2 printing causes out of paper warning. Doesn't happen with Chorme or Edge and reset firefox, reinstalled fire fox but first deleted profile JS
Firefox is giving my Brother MFC 8810DW printer to give out of paper every time I try an print but works with Edge and Google Chrome. I closed reset did all that malarkey no joy. Then closed all and destroyed profile JS, uninstalled Firefox. The reinstalled it. Same problem.
I will just use the other browsers to print because I don't have the time now. I can print using PDF Creator. I also tried the safe mode no joy

It seems Firefox sometimes reads the Brother paper-data wrong, apparently. This needing to change from 256 to 1 comes up a few times a year for different users.
For reference, "1" is Letter and "9" is A4. "256" seems to be quarter-sheet or something odd like that.

Could this be a paper size problem, where Firefox is telling your printer to use a size of paper that it doesn't have?
When you print to PDF Creator and then open the PDF and check the Document Properties, did Firefox generate a normal paper size for your region (for example, Letter in North America, A4 in Europe)?
I found resetting this did no good but changing the value from 256 to 1 did make the printer work and not say the printer needed paper which is strange and went in about:config
print.printer_Brother_MFC-8810DW_Printer.print_paper_data;1
The value was set at 256 and cause the printer to give warning out of paper. That is the first time that has happened.
This fix is usually for Firefox not using the enter sheet of paper. I just thought I would give it a try to because the name printer data.
Yes the paper was correctly printed with PDF Creator. The Brother printer must be finicky.
