Firefox crashes at startup after installing update. Clean install does the same. I have followed the instructions in Mozilla help to this point - does not open in "safe mode" etc. Any ideas?

The issue seems to have resolved itself -- not sure why. Maybe update was not completely downloaded/installed??? Thanks!

Nooo. It's doing the same thing. It seemed like it was working again! But it's not.

I did a clean install before i posted the question.

What I noticed is that either version (and I have now erased the old version from the applications folder) when opened from the dock crashes. It seems that the new version does not crash - as long as I do not open it from the dock.

Is that possible?
