After Firefox updated, it doesn't open the Google website (google.com or google.se).

I have checked the forum for a sollution, but in vain. Youtube opens, even Gmail. When I log into Gmail, I can then press the menu and click on "Search". That takes me to Google.

The certificate is in order, I have checked that. There are no error messages. Google is marked as safe everywhere. It works in every other browser. I was on the Google website five minutes before the update. I closed down Firefox, and the opened it again because I forgot to do something, I saw that the browswer was updating, and then when it started, it was just a grey, blank page instead of the Google website.

So this must be a developer's bug. A little help?

Hi, try deleting ALL references to Google. To do that, open the 3-bar menu > Library > History, then click the Show All History link at the bottom of the list to open the History-library window. Search for Google by typing it into the Search History field in the top-right corner, then press Enter. Now in the search results, right-click on it, and select Forget About This Site. (Browsing and download history, cookies, cache, active logins, passwords, saved form data, exceptions for cookies, images and pop-ups for that site will be removed). Give it a minute to complete the deletion, then try the site (not from an old bookmark) again. More - Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox

That doesn't solve my issue. Also, my browser is in Swedish, and "Forget About This Site" is translated into "Delete all history for this site". That shouldn't make a difference, though...

I re-installed Firefox, restarted my computer and now it works. I have no idea what the problem was, but for now, it's gone...

(A few minutes later) Well, it seems that it hasn't actually made any difference. I still have the same problem.

Does anybody have a suggestion for a sollution to this problem? I have Ghostery, AdBlocker and NoScript (though this one deactivated). I have had them for a long time, but it's not impossible that it has something to do with these add-ons. Although, this doesn't seem to be a common problem at all. So... WTF is happening?
