No thanks. I've already spent enough time removing it and giving my opinion here. I'm not interested in providing you with further QA time on my machine for something you claimed had already been tested successfully. After this reply the matter will be closed for me.

One thing I will offer you...

Is that I had an old version of Free Studio 2013 on my machine already. OutFoxTV was not installed during that install, nor was Conduit. I installed the 2014 version only to realize that I needed to uninstall the old version first. So I uninstalled everything relating to Free Studio, rebooted, an installed Free Studio 2014 a second time, and again as I said before, I had unchecked the box for install under custom installation for both this and the Conduit, but this still installed for some reason. There may be something in this process that might explain why it happened, but for me I am done with this.

It's obvious to me that OutFoxTV is not a virus or malicious program, but the back handed sneaky way it was installed *IS* IMHO...

I definitely agree with Selfthinker on these two points:

- It changes various browser settings without asking

- It cannot be completely removed easily (which is fixed by now, but many downloaders will still have that old version).

So in closing, your people might want to reconsider how you market this product in the future.

@outfox tv isn't it obvious that this is being installed on the computers, without the permission of the owners of the computers....isn't it obvious? or by your statement are you indicating that we are all morons or maybe just be me lol because I don't go away and it bothers me that you wont admit this. I have diplomas (plural) in IT and have a fair idea what I am talking about and the fact that you are treating these people like idiots should be an indication for this kind of discussion to be shared on Facebook or somewhere of some weight rather than this dingy little site hidden away somewhere so more can see the incompetence of control Mozilla has over its products and how they are forcibly installed and then settings are magically changed by tinkerbell...pfft

Update Contacted support Sent them all the info they needed, including what programs i upgraded or installed in a weeks time frame. and they said they would get back with me for more support and continuing support of my ticket.

Lo and behold it would seem what i was talking about is true. the software did not come any program that was upgraded or from one of the "Games" that i had been installing around that time.

then i sat back and watched all the posts coming in on this and the responses from outfoxtv rep. I must say i am very disappointed in their rep, if he/she was working for any company i had worked for and i acted in that manner, they would have been fired. I am a Forum Administrator for one service and used to be for several more. Outfoxtv rep is shown that they don't know how to handle disgruntled users in the least. Since i know how one is supposed to treat forum users with problems. I can say this and mean it.

The program this board is discussing has a lot of issues, primarily that it sneaks onto your computer and installs itself. Not showing any of the options outfoxtv rep has said is there and then telling us that we don't know squat or have sad lives for spending hours on the internet.

I have made my opinion known not just here, but i have posted on my FB, Twitter and Plus accounts not to trust outfoxtv program and to never install it.

You have made a name for yourself outfoxtv, but tis not a good one, from now on everyone is gonna know about the underhandedness of how you first got your program onto peoples computers. and how you have treated these people with real problems.

Just to be clear to everybody the Outfox.tv software does not have any Mozilla involvement in any way and it is not one of Mozilla's Products or Projects. Just because it was posted on this forum and has fox in the name does not mean Mozilla.org has a connection.

This thread was started because a user had found the browser new tabs in Firefox were changed after the outfox.tv software was installed among some of the tactics used in early on to spread outfox.tv like being including with other software.

Facebook would not be better place for Firefox support as this Official forum is more accessible in reading by guests and posting by members.

Edit: You want further proof rippled. See http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/products/ and https://mozillalabs.com/en-US/projects/ as outfox is not listed anywhere.
