@John99, Adobe gives you a choice between reverting to an archived 11.x (less secure but more 'features') or Flash 10.3, which has the latest security patches (see Adobe's How do I revert to a previous version of Flash Player? page).

The Firefox Support KB article Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again EDIT: now contains instructions for downgrading to Flash 10.3 tells you how to downgrade to Flash 11.2 and links to the archived Flash Player 11.2.202.233 (159 MB). Besides having to download a huge file, unzip it and find the right installer, that version had multiple security vulnerabilities fixed in 11.2.202.235 (ref.) and 11.3.300.257 (ref.).

Yes, lets hope the new Flash Player 11.3.300.262 helps. For less positive feedback, see the comments from today (June 21. 2012) posted here:

Also it appear, possibly unsurprisingly, that the new version of Flash is still conflicting with RealPlayers download/record function. /questions/930275#answer-345352

Still marked as not supporting 64-bit Windows Vista, like I have.

milesrf, You said, Still marked as not supporting 64-bit Windows Vista, like I have. The system requirements at http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/tech-specs.html list Windows Vista® (32-bit), Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) so that does imply that Flash will not work on 64-bit Vista systems but that's not so. If you install the latest Flash Player 11.3 (or the 64-bit download for Flash 11.2), it installs both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Flash on your system. Flash 10.3 is 32-bit. The 32-bit Flash Player will work on 64-bit Vista with 32-bit browsers like Firefox. See also, this thread posted Jun 16, 2012 on Adobe's forum:

It might be that 64-bit Flash will not work on 64-bit Internet Explorer. See http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-64-bit-operating.html which says, Note: Flash Player 64 bit is not supported on Windows Vista 64 bit. On Windows Vista 64 bit, install Flash Player 32 bit.
